Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n
The Medical Acupuncture Section of the Official Medical College of Barcelona is pleased to announce you the6th\u00a0International Medical Acupuncture Congress<\/strong>, to be\u00a0held in our college venue, on 8 and 9 November 2014.<\/p>\n It has been 12 years since our first Acupuncture Congress in Barcelona and this will be our sixth edition. We are delighted with the work done to date and look forward to building on these successes in the future.<\/p>\n The chosen title for the Congress is Acupuncture and Psychosomatic Disorders, because these pathologies are becoming ever more frequent in our society and Acupuncture is a useful therapeutic tool in this area.<\/p>\n We are preparing a programme that covers different disorders encountered in day-to-day clinical practice, in which acupuncture is effective. As always, we will have very well known speakers, discussions, round tables and specialist practical workshops as well as oral presentations and posters.<\/p>\n We would like to encourage you to present your work in the form of oral presentations or posters, so that we can share our knowledge between the international professionals present.\u00a0As in previous editions, we plan to award prizes to the three best oral presentations and to the three best posters, decided by an independent panel of judges.<\/p>\n We hope to see you in Barcelona to share the knowledge of acupuncture and, of course, enjoy the warm climate and ambience of our city.<\/p>\n Dr. Albert Garcia i Janeras
